Rowing Technique
Rowing is a very
Tactile pursuit. It is as much about how the work is applied as about how
much work is done
Many rowing
machines are mechanical in their nature, the WaterRower is more natural
enabling the user to "feel" for how the work is being applied
With a smoothly
loaded resistance across the entire length of the stroke, the WaterRower
encourages the correct application of power. Opening
the body evenly throughout the stroke, applying the work evenly throughout
the stroke
The catch
on the WaterRower is subtle, requiring you to pick up the speed of the moving water
in the tank in much the same way you pickup the speed of the moving boat
when on the river. The action is not harsh but precise
and smooth
