Combining Cardio and Strength

Rowing is a rare hybrid of cardio/aerobic training and resistance/anaerobic training. Most exercises fall into one or the other category, but rowing combines both.

Aerobic training uses calories from body fat during the course of a workout, while resistance training burns a significant amount of calories post workout.  Rowing takes advantage of the best of both aerobic and anaerobic training, burning a host of calories both during and after a workout.

Even short periods of time spent exercising on a WaterRower will increase your cardiovascular capacity and increase your strength, helping to contribute towards a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
